Why We Chose Our Venue ...

A romantic beach, waterfront, and lighthouse setting for their wedding ceremonyMontauk is our yearly travel tradition and we would always make the most amazing memories. So we knew that’s where we wanted to get married. We worked primarily with Hailee Rubin de Cervens, the Operations Manager and our mâitre d’. She was beyond exceptional in our wedding planning and since 360° East is an all-inclusive venue with a very helpful staff, we knew we had to have our wedding there. Plus, 360° East was the only venue that allowed us to get married at the Bluffs at Camp Hero.

We met on Hinge in the summer of 2019, Nick took me on his boat on our first date. We went on a boat ride on the Long Island Sound and then had dinner on City Island, the day before I started graduate school. We knew instantly after our first date that we would be end game. After our first date I went home and told my mother I met the man I was going to marry! Nick proposed in Key West, one of our favorite vacation spots, in January of 2024 at the southern most beach resort.

We chose our wedding venue because we love to vacation in Montauk. We go every year for Nick’s August birthday and it’s a place that is very special to us. We enjoy spending a lot of time in Montauk and since it is our yearly travel tradition and we love it so much, we knew we wanted to get married there. Nick grew up spending his summers in Montauk and he took me there the summer after we met. I fell in love with visiting Montauk and it became our yearly vacation spot where we would always make the most amazing memories.

We primarily worked with Hailee and she was beyond exceptional in our wedding planing process. She was one of the reasons we picked 360° East. It’s an all inclusive-venue with a very helpful staff and we knew we had to have our wedding there. The venue was also the only that allows you to get married at The Bluffs at Camp Hero, which is pictured in my photos overlooking the water and the lighthouse at the very end of Long Island. We were over the moon after our wedding day with how everything turned out, and Hailee went above and beyond to make sure every single need was met, from start to finish. Our wedding day was so smooth and stress-free because of her.

A Special Waterfront Ceremony

Wedding ballroom, 360 East at Montauk DownsSince our ceremony could be at The Bluffs at Camp Hero, and our venue was the only venue who offered a ceremony at that site. we just knew we had to get married there because the beauty is unmatched – you cannot beat getting married on a cliff overlooking the beach at “the end of the world” (what they call Montauk) with beautiful views of the lighthouse. The ceremony was truly something out of a movie.

An Abundant Cocktail Hour

My cocktail hour was unreal, we had so many stations and food choices available to our guests, my friends and family still rave about it, saying it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Our venue had so many station choices, the food wrapped around the entire balcony where the cocktail hour was held. We had everything from raw seafood, a lobster station, passed appetizers, and probably every ethnic choice available. Our carving station had marinated flank steak with chimichurri sauce, a pasta station with penne alla vodka with pancetta and shaved parmesan plus orecchiette pasta with broccoli rabe and sweet Italian sausage. We also had eight passed hot and cold hors d’oeuvres.

We also added a mac and cheese bar, a mashed potato martini bar, a Mediterranean station, a roadhouse grill station, plus a hand-rolled sushi station, a stir fry wok station, and an All-American station.

Our venue has an entire wraparound balcony that overlooks the golf course, with gorgeous chandeliers and wood throughout the ballroom. The theme of my wedding was black and white, so I had candelabras, single white roses, and floating candles on our tables and throughout the venue, paired with white drapery for our sweetheart table. The venue looked like an absolute dream and all my visions came to life.

Dinner was absolutely delicious. Our guests could choose fire-roasted chicken breast, surf & turf, Maryland crab crusted seasoned cod, or vegetable lasagna. Nicholas and I got the surf and turf (filet mignon with lobster) and stuffed cod.

Dessert was unreal, we also had many add-ons we chose for that as well. We had a chocolate fondue fountain, a donut wall, an ice cream sundae station, and passed desserts. We also had a grand Viennese station with cakes, cookies, and Italian pastries. Our passed desserts included cheesecake lollipops, tiramisu shooters, deep fried Oreos, mini ice cream cones, salted caramel churro shooters, and French macarons.

Entertaining Our Guests

There were plenty of other options. Among the entertainment, we had a team of tattoo artists we hired to give our guests a permanent gift on us, complimentary. When they say the night is a whirlwind they were not lying. I don’t even think I got to taste the dessert, because my husband and I were busy getting tattoos with our guests!

For guests who wanted to indulge while drinking, I had a plate of cigarettes for my guests along with custom matchbooks with our dog Sadie on them as favors, because we all know when some people have a few drinks, they want a smoke.

Our wedding cake was beyond delicious, I picked a white vintage cake with cherries along the rim, with every tier having a different flavor. I also had my dog Sadie not only on the match books, but as a statue on my cake as well along with the cocktail napkins, because not only was my dog at my ceremony because I knew my baby could not miss it, but she needed to be a part of my reception as well.

We also had an after-party with a pizza station and a taco bar plus a full open bar, and for favors, we gave our guests hot pretzels and lemonade

My wedding day was beyond all my wildest dreams. I truly could not have done it without all my vendors, family, and friends who helped bring my vision to life. And of course, my husband, who works tirelessly to make sure all my dreams always come true. It truly was the best day of my life. I could not have asked for a more perfect day.
