The Fountain Spa’s Bridal Beauty Tips

Go Pro … “Many makeup artists are self-taught from social media. Make sure your pro is certified and has invested in his or her education.”
Be Prepared … “Schedule your hair and makeup trial three to six months prior to your wedding day.”
Get Visual … “Bring pictures of your dress and the hairstyles you like to your trials.”

High Drama

At Left (or above on your smartphone) and in the Cover Photo below: “The neckline of the gown is very dramatic, so I amped up her eye makeup by adding deep brown and charcoal shadows with my Bobbi Brown eye palette. I also accentuated her bone structure with my NARS Capri highlighter.” … “This dress was so elegant! I pulled her hair off her face with a romantic half-up style, using a 1-1/2 inch Hot Tools Marcel iron. To add texture to the curls, I sprayed Kevin.Murphy Touchable Spray Wax and combed the curls with my fingers to add texture. I finished the style with Sudzz AeroFixx Working & Finishing Spray.” (Gown: Eve of Milady, 4388)

Manhattan Bride Spring/Summer 2020

“When I meet a bride,” says hair stylist Natalie D’Angelo, “I take her personality and her dress style into account to help me create a look that complements both!”

Gown: Eve of Milady (1634). Bouquet: Ariston Flowers.

Sweet Romance

“The soft, romantic waves of Illeana’s hairstyle inspired me to keep her makeup light. I used TEMPTU Perfect Canvas Airbrush Foundation to emphasize her flawless complexion. A soft pink-nude lip enhanced the look.” … “I gave Illeana soft Hollywood glam waves to complement the intricate bead work of the dress. I used a Hot Tools 1-1/4 inch Marcel curling iron and brushed the curls out using Kenra Design Spray 9. I then set the whole style with Sudzz AeroFixx Working & Finishing Spray.” (Gown: Eve of Milady, 1634)

Hollywood Glam

“Her look is very reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour. What’s more Hollywood than a red lip and arched brows? The red lip is courtesy of NARS lip palettes, while for the brows, I used ybf Beauty eyeshadow.” … “I pulled Illeanna’s hair to the side to show off the embroidered shoulder straps of the gown. I used Kenra Design Spray 9 to style and Sudzz AeroFixx Working & Finishing Spray to set the whole style.” (Gown: Eve of Milady, 1649)
