Cocktail hour was plentiful and truly top-of-the-line. The talented Isaac Ezekiel Del Rosario played soft music on the piano. We had a dozen different butler-passed hors d’oeuvres, a live slider, a Philly cheese steak station, a raw bar, a live taco station, sushi, carving stations, fresh made mozzarella, and so much more! Our guests were full before the reception even began.
We incorporated a touch of Halloween in the grand ballroom for our reception. Black, white, and gold fulfilled the spooky, yet ultra-chic vibe I wanted. White flowers adorned the tables, and our sweetheart table was a focal point, positioned on the stage.
Dinner was delicious, and we had it served buffet style to allow guests to eat at their own pace and come up for seconds, or thirds! Some favorites were the lobster station, the grilled seasoned skirt steak, the tomahawk steak, the veal osso bucco, and the famous Brownstone short ribs. We also had some cultural highlights like pernil with arroz con gandules and pork chops with Italian hot peppers.
Our wedding cake was gorgeous with four tiers of gold and marble hand-painted accents. We chose funfetti cake for the inside! Some additional Halloween touches were added to The Brownstone dessert hour, such as an “orange” chocolate fountain and candy apples, and we had ghost and Frankenstein cookies brought in as well.
