Glamorous Bride.
“I created a soft, smokey eye using brown and tan shades, putting the darker shade in the crease and blending out. I used dark brown liner on the top lids and light brown on the bottom to bring out her blue eyes. I curled her hair with a large barrel iron and wove a small braid into a side chignon, leaving some hair down to add softness to her face.” (Gown: Eve of Milady, 4349)
Simply Elegant.
“The inspiration for this look was the classy gown. The eyes have soft, natural makeup, pulling attention to the deep rose lip color. For her hair, I curled it, brushed it out, teased it, and then pinned it up section by section. The highlights in her hair add a gorgeous dimension to the low updo.” (Gown: Steven Birnbaum, Jo)
Romantic, Natural Look.
“To bring out the blue in her eyes and her bouquet, I used Drumbeat red lipstick by Mary Kay, which has blue undertones. The eye makeup is soft and the subtle browns balance out the bold lipstick. I curled her hair with a large barrel iron, applied a serum to her hair, and then pinned it into a half-up and half-down style.” (Gown: Lucia Rodriguez, LW4672)
Terrie’s Bridal Beauty Tips
Makeup and Hair That Lasts! … “Use a facial and eyeshadow primer to make sure your makeup lasts all day and doesn’t smudge. Before your wedding, I recommend the Keratin hair treatment to prevent frizz and help achieve a sleek blowout.”
Bright is Beautiful… “For a bright look, use a shimmer powder in the corner of your eyes. Consider your face shape and hair color when deciding your hair style. Highlights add beautiful dimension to any hairstyle.”
