How We Chose Our Venue ...

Zul & Todd's Wedding at The Lake House Inn (photo: Magi Fisher, Magdalena Studios)“We chose The Lake House Inn first and foremost because of the aesthetic. The natural beauty of the lake and the bucolic ambiance felt like a dream. The fact that The Lake House Inn was able to host our entire bridal party and family members on-site for both our rehearsal night as well as the night of the wedding, along with breakfast the morning after, really sealed the deal for us.

Craig Zeserman and all The Lake House Inn staff, including those with JAM Catering, were quick to help us and our wedding planner, Shannon Wellington, with every request. They were prompt, professional, and kind. Craig and the staff could not have been more accommodating,”

“Natural Beauty”

We met at Ott’s Tavern in Voorhees in 2016. We worked together for a few years and one night after work we decided to grab drinks. After talking the night away we both knew this was something special. Soon enough, with the help of our new puppy Frankie, we became inseparable. I booked a reservation at Jean Georges Restaurant in Philadelphia the day before Valentine’s Day and Todd decided it would be a perfect opportunity to surprise me. He proposed with the breathtaking view of the Philadelphia skyline as the backdrop. He made the night unforgettable.

We chose The Lake House Inn first and foremost because of the aesthetic.

Craig and the staff could not have been more accommodating, even providing additional s’mores and hot dogs after we thought we had exhausted our allocation.

We were absolutely stunned by the floral arrangements from Fresh Designs Florist on the wedding arch and the surrounding areas. They provided the perfect foreground to the backdrop of beautiful Lake Nockamixon for our officiant, Alisa Tong, to convey our love to our friends and family.

The Philadelphia String Quartet provided a beautiful ambiance as our guests and relatives sampled wine from the rustic wine cellar, sipped on personalized signature cocktails, and munched on delectable bites, meats, and cheeses. The Lake House Inn staff gave us samples from each station privately as we got a chance to enjoy some initial one-on-one quality time together after the ceremony in our first minutes as a married couple.

The warm boho theme that Shannon Wellington and her team created perfectly combined with the openness of the ballroom overlooking the lake. Fresh Designs Florist really listened to our desires, highlighted by the pampas wall photo booth backdrop they created. We absolutely adored that along with all our guests!

Even while creating the menu specifically for those guests with dietary issues,JAM Catering provided the perfect menu for us and our guests. The steak for the main course was one of the best things we’ve ever eaten. To this day, the peanut butter chocolate cupcakes are still praised by our guests. Just thinking about them makes us want more of them again right now lol.

We could not be more thankful for Craig, the staff at The Lake House Inn, and JAM Catering for making our wedding day truly a dream come true. Shannon Wellington and her team made every step from the initial planning stages to the night of the wedding so smooth and stress-free that it almost didn’t feel like we were the ones getting married. Her imagination and style guided us into creating a chic yet warm environment to showcase our love for each other.  We want to give special thanks to our parents, Trish Bigley and Luzaida and Jose Pagan, for their support and love throughout the entire wedding planning process.
