The first time Dave and I met was at a car meet through a mutual friend. We became acquaintances, and a year later something clicked. We went on our first date and couldn’t imagine being apart again. Only a month into dating, Dave texted me saying he would marry me one day. He was right, because one year and one day after that text, he was on one knee in front of Cinderella’s Castle in Disney World, asking me to marry him!

The chapel, with its ornate woodwork, is warm and inviting. So many details went into designing Park Château, it’s hard to describe the beauty within. We fell in love with every aspect.
Over the next few months, we gathered the best team of vendors and ended up with a wedding day that was absolutely perfect. My mother, sister, and I spent all morning relaxing at Park Château. We had our hair and makeup done in the bridal suite and in the morning we were brought freshly made breakfast with all the fixings! The groom’s suite was also brought morning bites and drinks, and later on we were both brought hot and cold luncheon items. This attentiveness was carried out through the day, with our personal attendants taking care of all our needs.
Our ceremony décor was simple and romantic. I was thrilled to be wearing the dress I’d had my eye on since it came out five years before, complete with a custom overskirt that allowed me to have the long train I’d always dreamed of. We were excited to get to the delicious cocktail hour and sample some of the delicious food we’d chosen! The food was amazing and the staff catered to all our guests like they were royalty. We were given the choice between so many amazing stations; we had mac and cheese, hot Italian seafood, chicken and waffles, and more. We had something for absolutely every taste.
For our reception, we kept our décor light and elegant so as not to distract from the beauty of the venue itself. We enhanced the room with floral centerpieces of simple, delicate crystal stands that held dreamy arrangements of white hydrangeas, blush roses, and soft greenery, perfectly striking a note of simple elegance.
For dinner, we started with the Château salad. Our entrée options were a duet plate of chateaubriand and shrimp, a chicken Château, and eggplant Napoleon. Our custom cake was beautiful, with lifelike sugar flowers that matched my bouquet and the floral decor. We danced the night away thanks to our DJ and his team. Everyone was on the dance floor all night long, and everyone that attended our wedding said they’d never been to a more fun wedding!
From the moment we walked into Park Château, the staff was kind, helpful, and seemed like they couldn’t do enough to help. There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful they are. It was an absolute pleasure working with everyone at Park Château, along with all our other vendors. We highly recommend them and will absolutely use them for future events! Thank you to our photographer, who took photos that tell a story to last a lifetime, and thank you to everyone at L’Fay bridal for their hard work, particularly the seamstress. You all went above and beyond!
