4. Globe Spanning Photography

Globe-Spanning Photography … For years I had been doing our fashion photography in the city’s major hotels and venues, generously invited to the Waldorf Astoria, The Pierre, The Plaza, and other locations. As a photographer, I wanted to start shooting without using studio lights and in new locations. The first international trip was to Acapulco with acclaimed NYC Principal Ballerina Darci Kistler.

Over the years our photo trips spanned the globe, as I was invited, along with my cameras and our team, to shoot in Morocco, the Amazon Jungle, Tahiti, Paris, Jamaica, Maui, the Bahamas, and other exotic and romantic locations, with top models, dancers, and even several beauty queens, including Miss France, Miss USA, and Miss Russia.

We traveled to the Amazon Rain Forest with Miss USA, to the islands of Tahiti with Miss France, and to Paris with Miss Russia. Along the way we collected even more awards for photography and design.

We greatly appreciated being sponsored by national tourist boards, major airlines, world class resorts, and Eastman Kodak, and again, thanks to all for their generosity. (Photography: Rick Bard)
