Ellen preps Amber’s skin with Dermalogica’s “Active Moist” lotion and airbrushes a light “Hydroproof Airbrush” foundation from Kett Cosmetics onto her skin. Next, she lightly dusts a rose-colored blush onto her cheekbones for a celestial glow. Finally, an amber and rose colored lipstick and gloss completes Amber’s fresh and classic look.

Ellen uses MAC Cosmetics Paint in “Bare Naked,” to keep Amber’s eye makeup long-lasting and waterproof. “To enhance her eye color and shape, I use a MAC liner in “Stubborn Brown” and “Duck,” and light pink and brown eye shadows,” says Ellen. “Individual lashes and two coats of waterproof mascara are added to open her eyes. Amber’s overall look is perfect for any day or evening wedding.

“I love enhancing the natural beauty in brides and meeting new and interesting people,” says Ellen. She is currently the senior makeup artist for the “Good Day New York” show, and has previously worked for MAC Cosmetics, MTV, Nickelodeon, and CNN.

Maya Seissva, a hair stylist for Gorgeous Bride NY Hair & Makeup Studio, a team of professional hair and makeup artists, begins by blow drying Amber’s hair with a small round brush to create soft curls and fullness. Next, she applies Kerastase “Paris Vinyle Nutri-Sculpt” to the ends for a polished look. A beautiful crystal clip pulls together the soft and beautiful look.
